Water for South Sudan

We have been listening to the book, A Long Walk to Water in Social Studies.  This book tells the story of Salva Dut, a "Lost Boy" of Sudan, and his work to bring clean water to his home country.

I have made a donation in honor of my students to his non-profit, Water for South Sudan.  Many of the kids were interested in doing this as well.  There is no pressure to donate, but I wanted to make the link available for those who were inspired to help after learning about the hardships and illness that plague those who live without clean water.

There is also a brief video of his story if you are interested.
